About the Chefs

Yes Chef!: The CFACoLab

The CFACoLab is a performance group of actors, dancers, composers, visual artists, and designers from the seven units of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Departments represented include Dance, Music, Visual Arts, Architecture, Film and Entertainment Engineering.

The award-winning five-star group begins with a single idea or image and devises the world of a show exploring aspects of art and design. The idea is to begin with nothing and from there find everything. The group is collaborative beyond traditional theatrical practices. Members are encouraged to bring all their talents to the work, even talents that are not their normal discipline-based practices. The CFACoLab has presented works in Scotland, England, Korea, Japan, and Australia.
